Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced a new AI-powered feature called Grid Trading strategies. This feature utilizes trading algorithms to automate transactions for users, providing them with intuitive strategies through the power of artificial intelligence (AI).
Unlike manual strategy creation that involves complex parameters, the AI strategies offered by Bitget enable users to choose and create strategies more intuitively. By simply inputting a desired strategy rate of return and referring to a yield curve graph, users can avoid the complexity of filling in intricate variables.
Within Bitget’s AI Grid Trading Bot, users only need to specify their preferred strategy and investment amount. The small language model integrated into the platform iterates through thousands of parameters, generating multiple strategies for the same currency pair. This approach distinguishes it from large language models like ChatGPT, which possess billions of parameters and serve more general purposes.
Bitget’s AI bots, including the previously unveiled Martingale AI bot, offer various parameter settings such as the number of positions added, multiplier amounts for position addition, and take-profit percentages. However, real-time synchronization of price data among multiple users presents a challenge. To tackle this issue, Bitget developers have adopted distributed computing and load balancing technology to enhance the system’s concurrent processing capability.
While the current AI strategy provides users with reference parameters, the selection of strategies based on future market judgments remains the users’ responsibility. Bitget plans to further develop an AI bot capable of learning price prediction, although this feature is still in intensive research and development.
In April, Bitget showed its commitment to advancing AI technologies by pledging $10 million to the Fetch.AI blockchain ecosystem during the surge of ChatGPT. This move demonstrates the exchange’s dedication to harnessing the potential of AI in the cryptocurrency industry.
